The sky is purple

and I miss you.

There are shades of lilac
and cerulean
and violet hovering in the sky

and I miss you.

I miss the you I knew
and all the pages I don’t.

There is red on the horizon
and a few stars have come out

and I miss you.

My breath keeps catching
on moments
where you could have been mine

and I miss you.
