We never thought this
would be easy
or that our love would
transcend
space,
distance,
possibility.
We are just jagged puzzles
of jigsawed pieces
and assembly
is always required,
but I would go anywhere
just to be within
the circle of your arms,
the focus of your gaze.

for every journey.
