Undone

The desire is thick,
swampland puddles
clinging
to my heartstrings.
These pieces of fog
sticking
to my spiderweb fingers
and with one touch
I am undone.
I am cast about
this open sea
and the typhoon
hovers
on the edges
of black and safety
where you sit
with your legs dangling
in the tide,
where I stand
on fire
made of waves
and love
and this ocean
of time
pooling at my feet.
